Tinja Mountain Lodge is situated in a magnificent landscape nearby Kong Olavs vei (King Olav’s road) – E10 halfway between Narvik, the district Bjerkvik and the Swedish winter resort Riksgränsen. Tinja is located on an axis between the well-known Lofoten and Kiruna in Sweden with its Ice Hotel. The lodge lies only 23 kms from Narvik town, 61 kms from Harstad/Narvik Airport, Evenes and 96 kms from Harstad town.
Most of our visitors are travelling with their own car, but it is also possible to go by taxi. Another alternative are the buses and airport buses that passes only 5 kms from the lodge, sometimes also straight pass the lodge. Our minibuses give us the opportunity to pick you up a number of places nearby. There is also a growing number arriving by helicopter.
With car, it takes approx. 25 minutes from Narvik and Riksgränsen. From Harstad it takes approx. one and a half hour. The distance between the junction down by E6/E10 and Tinja is about 6 kms.
